About IAHPM

The Association provides a forum for work on the conditions that support reliable products and informed use: quality, relevant evidence, responsible communication and clear policy. Its scope includes finished-product manufacturers and the organisations that contribute materials, components and manufacturing expertise.

Our purpose and principles

Some questions cross product categories, including supplier oversight and the accuracy of product information. Others require specialised knowledge. The performance of a diagnostic test, for example, calls for a different discussion from the identity of a botanical ingredient.

IAHPM organises its work around both product sectors and common issues. This allows technical questions to be examined in context while drawing on experience from other parts of manufacturing.

Product sectors · Our work

Committees develop work priorities within their terms of reference. Projects have defined objectives and deliverables. The Secretariat coordinates participation and publication; formal positions follow the Association's approval process.

How we work · Governance

Membership is held by organisations. Eligibility and participation arrangements reflect the applicant's role in the health-product sector. Collaboration on a particular subject is considered separately from membership.
