Connect ingredient information, finished-product specifications and the evidence behind a nutrition-product statement.

A finished product brings together ingredient identity, amount, formulation, processing, packaging and storage. A certificate or supplier specification for an ingredient answers a different question from a result for the finished batch. A useful review records where each item applies and how the records connect.
Ingredient record: identity, source, specification, method and change notification.
Manufacturing record: formulation, process, in-process controls and the finished-product specification.
Product information: composition, intended use, directions and statements presented to customers or professionals.
Check that names, amounts, units and versions are consistent across all three. Where a statement relies on published evidence, identify whether it concerns the same ingredient form, amount, population and conditions of use.
Suppose a supplier changes an ingredient carrier while retaining the same commercial ingredient name. The review should not stop at the name. Record whether the specification, analytical method, processing behaviour, finished-product composition, stability information or evidence link is affected. Assign who will approve the change and update product information if needed.
