Define the handover

Name the sending product, receiving system, purpose, users and point at which responsibility changes. Record field definitions, units, timestamps, identifiers, provenance and version.

Test real failure states

Walk through a missing value, delayed message, duplicate, correction and unavailable service. Decide what the receiving system shows, which record is authoritative and who investigates. Security and privacy assessments remain separate tasks against the actual data flow.

Use the data tool

The connected-health worksheet contains a field dictionary, example records and a failure-state matrix.
