about
Collaboration
Some manufacturing and evidence questions benefit from contributions across industry, research and professional practice. IAHPM considers collaboration where the purpose is clear and the participants can make a relevant contribution.

Areas for collaboration
Potential areas include methods for describing product performance, manufacturing practice, the quality of product information and professional education. A proposal should explain the question, the intended users of the work and the proposed output.
Agreed responsibilities
A collaboration sets out the respective roles, resources, review arrangements and rights to use the resulting material. Funding and relevant interests are disclosed as appropriate. Participation in a shared activity does not give either party authority to speak for the other.
Assessing a proposal
A proposal is assessed against five questions: Is the subject within IAHPM’s scope? Is the intended output useful to its audience? Are responsibilities and resources clear? Can relevant interests be disclosed? Are publication and intellectual-property arrangements workable?
The parties must agree any use of names and logos. A conversation or submission does not itself establish a partnership.
Put forward a proposal
Please provide your organisation's name, the subject and product area, the contribution you can offer and the proposed outcome. Public background material is helpful; an initial enquiry should not contain confidential research or personal health information.
