about
Governance
IAHPM is a Swiss association. This page explains responsibility for Association business, publications and membership administration, and how to raise a governance question.

Legal identity
International Association of Health Product Manufacturers (IAHPM)
Rue du Marché 32, 1204 Genève, Switzerland
Swiss UID: CHE-278.279.361
Legal form: Association
The Association's constitutional documents and applicable law govern its legal organisation and membership rights. The operating information on this website explains how public work and services are handled; it does not amend those documents.
Responsibilities
| Area | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Direction and resources | The governing body directs the Association and authorises matters reserved to it or to members under the constitutional arrangements. |
| Technical work | A work lead defines the question, intended audience, contribution route and proposed output. |
| Publication | Editorial review checks sources, attribution, interests, the distinction between evidence and interpretation, and the limits of a conclusion. |
| Membership administration | Membership decisions, covered legal entities, fees and account permissions are recorded separately from technical contributions. |
| Secretariat | The Secretariat maintains requests, institutional records and the routes used for authorised Association business. |
A contributor, professional affiliation or website appearance does not by itself confer authority to represent IAHPM.
Decisions and publications
A public resource identifies its type, date, version and issuing organisation. An individual contribution or working discussion remains attributable to its source until the designated Association approval has been completed.
Formal policy positions and membership decisions require the authority assigned to those matters. A technical editor cannot admit a member, and administrative access does not authorise a product claim or policy statement.
Interests and professional conduct
Contributors identify their organisation and any interest that could affect how a reader interprets their input. A person with a material conflict must not decide the handling of the affected matter. Participants must not use Association activities to exchange competitively sensitive information or agree market conduct.
Governance enquiries
For governing information, authority to represent the Association or an institutional record, state the subject and period concerned. Reports about conduct use a separate private route.
