IAHPM's educational work gives industry professionals a setting to examine defined scientific, technical and policy questions and consider their implications for practice.
Learning with a clear purpose
Each activity identifies its intended audience, the subjects to be covered and the knowledge participants should be able to take from it. The description explains any prior experience needed and whether the activity is open to the public or restricted to eligible participants.
Formats
Activities can include technical briefings, facilitated workshops and recorded learning resources. The format follows the learning purpose. Discussion-based activities also explain participation expectations and the treatment of confidential information.
Contributors and material
Contributors are selected for relevant expertise. Affiliations, relevant interests and financial support are identified as appropriate. Learning material distinguishes the Association's approved content from an individual speaker's perspective.
